Throat Punch Thursday~Judge William Adams, Jury and Executioner Edition

Throat Punch Thursday~ Judge William Adams, Aransas County, Hillary Adams, tech, you tube

Judge William Adams ~ Judge, Jury and Executioner. I have awarded the Throat Punch to some of, what I would consider, the most unsavory characters in the world but this recipient may be the most deserving ever. I came across this video on Jessica Gottlieb’s blog tonight. I am providing the video here of the despicable acts of Judge William Adams but be warned it is very graphic. You will find it disturbing. It, literally, made me want to vomit. I hope it will incite in you a rage to take action and to throat punch those who ever considered beating a child as an acceptable punishment. Apparently, in Aransas County Texas, crimes perpetrated by top legal officials like Judge William Adams are tolerated.

Judge William Adams; You Disgust Me

Judge William Adams; Real Men don’t hit children

This is the description that accompanies the video:

2004: Aransas County Court-At-Law Judge William Adams took a belt to his own teenage daughter as punishment for using the internet to acquire music and games that were unavailable for legal purchase at the time. She has had ataxic cerebral palsy from birth that led her to a passion for technology, which was strictly forbidden by her father’s backwards views. The judge’s wife was emotionally abused herself and was severely manipulated into assisting the beating and should not be blamed for any content in this video. The judge’s wife has since left the marriage due to the abuse, which continues to this day, and has sincerely apologized and repented for her part and for allowing such a thing, long before this video was even revealed to exist. Judge William Adams is not fit to be anywhere near the law system if he can’t even exercise fit judgement as a parent himself. Do not allow this man to ever be re-elected again. His “judgement” is a giant farce.

Signed, Hillary Adams, his daughter.

As you can see from the video, Judge William Adams is the lowest form of man. He is a verbally, physically and mentally abusive asshole to his daughter Hillary Adams. I’m giving Judge William Adams the throat punch for being  a piece of shit father and an overall monster. I think a throat punch is too good for this garbage, Judge Adams actually deserves something more along the lines of a group of big angry men, beating him to a bloody pulp with socks full of soap and pennies but even that would be too good for him. I also feel that Judge William Adams’ wife should be held accountable. An enabling wife is no advocate of her child and is as guilty as her husband. I see that she made a feeble attempt to dissuade his advances by taking it upon herself to hit the child, probably a lot less brutal than the wallops of Judge Adams but no less despicable. Any mother worth her salt would have thrown herself between the two and called the cops, pulled a gun or fought him back herself. There is no way I could ever stand by and willingly participate in the type of brutality that Judge William Admas perpetrated on his own daughter.

Throat Punch Thursday~ Judge William Adams, Aransas County, Hillary Adams, tech, you tube

Judge William Adams is very clearly seen in the video repeatedly beating his child. It was as if he had some insatiable thirst that couldn’t be quenched. It’s apparent to me that he was outraged that  the teen had been downloading illegal downloads. I understand that he is an elected official of the court and it would probably not look very good if his own daughter was caught illegally downloading. But the foul language, the continuous beating, the degrading and despicable way that he was talking to his daughter was unnerving to me. This was obviously not an isolated case, evident by the fact that Hillary Adams had the forethought to record the incident in the first place.  He clearly has a problem and I think the best place for him would be to be locked up in the penitentiary with the rest of the uncontrollable animals.

*In the US and Canada you can call 1-800-4-A-CHILD if you are being abused or know a child who is being abused. Anyone can call. Woman, child, man..someone will pick up and listen and HELP YOU get the help you need and stop the abuse!

Judge William Adams there is a special place in hell for men who hurt children.

*Adding insult to injury, Judge William Adams is a judge who handles child abuse cases.

absolutely despicable. he should be beaten raw and left in a cell with a sign around his neck that says “child abuser”…. he disgusts me.

Truthful Mommy 2011/11/03 - 11:19 pm

I agree 100%

Evin Cooper 2011/11/03 - 11:07 am

I tried to watch this video this morning and couldn’t. The first few seconds upset me too much. This man is a piece of shit. Seriously. If he had done this SAME THING to a grown man, he’d be charged with assault and other felonies. Of course, grown men can defend themselves and this guy is obviously a giant fucking pussy. #commentday

Truthful Mommy 2011/11/03 - 1:37 pm

He’d never do it to a grown man because he is a coward and he is afraid that they might beat his ass back. A man like this likes the power that comes with beating on someone who can’t fight back. This monster couldn’t get enough.

Non-Stop Mom 2011/11/03 - 11:25 am

I watched the video last night and seriously wanted to puke within the first minute. I also feel that the mother is just as guilty – if anyone even attempted to lay a finger on my kids….well, I’m not even going to go there. Unreal.

From the information I read, it’s not even clear if he’ll be brought up on charges. Maybe he won’t be formally charged, but now that the video has been released, he’ll be paying for it for life in one way or another.

Stopping by from #CommentDay too.

Truthful Mommy 2011/11/03 - 12:54 pm

If he isn’t brought up on charges then I will be convinced that the judicial system is more effed up than I ever thought possible. It kills me to see what he did to that girl and what he has been allowed to get away with.

Suniverse 2011/11/03 - 11:30 am

Fucking douchebag.

I don’t even have the words.

Truthful Mommy 2011/11/03 - 12:53 pm

I concur, fucking douchebag indeed!

Somedude 2011/11/03 - 12:53 pm

Yea… saw the video and looking at some people’s responses…. This is why people are pushing for children free restaraunts, flights , etc. People don’t know how to raise their children anymore. This was not abusive. If this was an every day thing then you would have a case. She disobeyed her father’s wishes and was a thief. She got an asswhooping. There wasn’t any long term injuries and if someone says something to the tune of mental abuse then you’re weak , mentaly. Grow up. Develop a backbone and the mental capacity to overcome this. The physical world leads to physical reactions. She was a snotty little kid and did something she should have been punished for. Plain and simple. She waits seven years to release this in order to get back at her dad whom she was unhappy with because he probably refused to pay for her trip to Cancun. Strive to be a lttle stronger people . Quit letting yourselves be so weak willed and overly sensitive.

Truthful Mommy 2011/11/03 - 1:11 pm

First let me tell you something, this WAS ABUSIVE! This man was a grown man, larger than her, intimidating mentally and physically to this child. Yes a child, only a teenager. Once you have been a teen girl who has been BEATEN relentlessly by her father (someone that most children are taught to respect) then you can say it wasn’t abusive. I have been a child beaten just like this and I can tell you that it was most definitely abusive and cowardice. Any man, or woman, for that matter who excessively beats on someone smaller then themselves, worse someone who looks up to them, trusts them and respects them is an animal.
Yes, she disobeyed her father. I clearly agree that she should have been punished. He should have taken away privileges, he should have taken away her tv, computer, car whatever but you don’t beat and cuss at a child. He didn’t do this to teach her not to steal. He did this because if it got out it would be an embarrassment to his position. He is an asshole and a bully. That was no asswhooping, He beat her like a man would do another man in a bar fight only he chose someone smaller than him.
Not to mention she is handicapped as well. What kind of mental midget beats on a special needs child? How can you call her a snotty kid? I didn’t hear her talk back to him in the clip. HE was the one who wouldn’t shut up. He was the one who kept beating her. He is an animal. DO you know her personally that you can say she was a snotty little kid? And even if she were, it does not justify his behavior or the mother’s for that matter. The mother stood by and let it happen.
Did you think maybe she waited 7 years because she was afraid of him? Did you think maybe she still is? DO you seriously think this was an isolated incident? If so,why would the camera have been on? He probably had done it before and has done it since. Maybe YOU should get a little perspective or better yet let someone beat you like that and then tell me that it’s not abusive. When you’ve been in that little girls shoes and been beaten out of them…then you can tell me to get over it and not be so weak. You may be in need of some rage classes yourself if you think this behavior is appropriate.

Evin Cooper 2011/11/03 - 1:42 pm

Obviously a troll. Oy.

Somedude 2011/11/04 - 2:28 pm

I WAS beaten liek this. and I deserved it. You should give more credit to children. They tend not to be the dumbasses you make them out to be. Sure they may be immmature at that age. like I was, but when I disobeyed my parents I fully knew what I was doiing and what the possible consquences were. This parent disciplined his child. In life there are all kinds of consequences for your actions. One day you will run into a person who chooses physical violence over a fine . Sometimes its acceptable. As a child and as an adult I find spanking and belt smacking acceptable only because there usually isn’t any long term physical ailments that come from it. I know this cause again I was beat like this. Big Whoop. Get over it. Be stronger and stop being so weak. Are you alive? Then be grateful for that. Did you have any long term physical problems because you were disciplned with a belt? Guessing no but if you do then sure I would consider that abuse but if it’s only some sort of weak emotional hang up. Get over it. Turns out she was unhappy cause he cut her off financialy. See just because you discpline with a belt doesn’t mean your kid still won’t turn out a spoiled brat. Sometimes its just who they are. Either way in this world there are consequences and sometimes they’re corporal. Kids need to know this. Heck some adults need to know this too. I’m actually pretty patient, well in my eyes , and I don’t think someone should get physical to prove your point because you can usually do that over a good discussion but I do think corporal punishment is an effective tool. If I didn’t want you to smoke and every time you went to light up I smacked you across the head I bet you would second guess that reach when you went for another cig. Cause and effect. Choices and consquences. Living in your little bubble and not.

Roxanne 2011/11/03 - 1:17 pm

I didn’t get further than a few seconds into the beating. i can’t watch it. It makes me sick.

Truthful Mommy 2011/11/03 - 1:31 pm

It makes me sick literally too!

Daddy Knows Less 2011/11/03 - 2:01 pm

I couldn’t watch the video anymore. I stopped 2:30 in. This is disgusting. You’re right when you say throat punch is too good for this guy. He should be thrown into a pool full of alligators. There is a place in hell for this douchebag.

Truthful Mommy 2011/11/03 - 5:14 pm

Oh yeah, there is certainly a special place in hell for these type of cowardice piece of shit. The video made me sick. His actions are despicable and the scariest thing is that he is a judge in child abuse cases. What the hell is going on in Aransas County Texas? I;m afraid for the children in this area. I imagine his tolerance for child abusers is pretty high, given the fact that he is one himself.

Leroy 2011/11/03 - 4:49 pm

Sooo, in TX it’s illegal to beat a dog this way, but we’re not sure if it’s illegal to beat a girl this way? Good to know.

Truthful Mommy 2011/11/03 - 5:17 pm

My thoughts exactly. I don’t understand how any parent could beat on their own child like that, he even seemed to want more. He just kept coming at her and cussing at her like he absolutely hated her very existence. This man is nothing less than a monster. And apparently, Texas has some issues differentiating between humans and animals and why it is so important to NOT allow this sort of malice behavior towards any child…EVER!

Somedude 2011/11/04 - 2:31 pm

I’d like to think you’re 16 year old child has a better grasp on what they are doing then your pug. Course they are yours.

Nona 2011/11/03 - 6:04 pm

Parents do get angry at their children’s behavior and kids do need discipline. This was not normal parental anger at a child’s bad behavior, nor was it appropriate discipline. This was sheer rage, unleashed by a coward on a defenseless girl. This man is a sociopath and should never, ever be allowed to be near children.

Truthful Mommy 2011/11/03 - 6:49 pm

I completely agree. This man has a problem and needs help. This is why the girl released the video to youtube to force him to get help.

Linda 2011/11/03 - 6:25 pm

I’ve never commented (i don’t think!) on your blog, but I read it every day. This video brought back some bad memories for me, and I found myself sobbing halfway through. I did not experience the physical as much, but the mental and emotional abuse was VERY similar. Especially since the mom seemed to go along. I asked my mom years ago why she didn’t fight back (because the abuse was the same with her), and she always said that sticking up for herself or arguing back made the situation even worse, much less stick up for us kids. I’m a mom and a grandmother now, and I was so stunned at the visceral reaction I had to the (seemingly) never-ending verbal and emotional abuse of that “upstanding pillar of the community.” I can attest to the fact that men like him never change. they are always right, and cannot or will not be rehabilitated, because “they didn’t do anything wrong.” Now I have to go do something to cheer myself up. *sigh*

Truthful Mommy 2011/11/03 - 6:53 pm

Thank you so much for reading and commenting today. The video did the same for me and I know (from experience) exactly how this girl felt. You feel helpless and defeated, unloved and unworthy and afraid. I don;t have any compassion for the wife. With his behavior, I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t beat her as well but that is NO excuse. Once you have children, you have to be their advocate, their protector. If that means fighting back or leaving, going off on your own…that is what you do because you are responsible for your child’s well being. THis man is a monster and watching the video made me not only want to crawl out of my skin, it put me back into that place of that child and my heart hurt for her. It ached for me the child. It enraged me and made me want to fight for her. This story and this man are sickening and he needs to spend time in jail with the other monsters, perhaps a little tit for tat is what is in order.

Christi 2011/11/03 - 7:19 pm

Linda, I had a similar upbringing, and this video also made me want to vomit. I actually started a thread on one of my mommy community boards titled “I almost vomited” in regards to this.

I, too, was never physically abused, but can recall being yelled at, cussed at and intimidated in a similar way by my father. My mother was beaten by him early in their relationship, but eventually he stopped (after she threw a chair at him and told him she’d divorce him) hitting but the screaming/cussing/intimidation lasted. Needless to say, we are estranged.

Anyway, my heart has been broken all day for that poor girl. I don’t care what her reasons are, good for her for videoing this and exposing this psycho for what he is. The things I wish for him aren’t fit for type.

As a mother, I get being angry at my kid, even irrationally so. I have a temper and sometimes I get just PISSED. And if I yell at my son or come across too aggressive, I feel guilt for days. That being said, how does that POS father treat his daughter liek that and then expect them to have a relationship? I do not want my sons to grow up to fear their parents. I hope she finds peace in her life. And I hope he goes to prison and is ass raped.

Truthful Mommy 2011/11/03 - 8:01 pm

I am so with you. I hate this man. I hope he goes to jail and receives the same treatment that he has shown his own daughter. He is a total monster.

Carri 2011/11/03 - 7:17 pm

You have got to be fucking kidding me. If I did half that to my dog, PETA would be up my ass like nobody’s business. But those idiots in Texas need to investigate this to decide whether it was abuse or just punishment? My God.
That was absolutely horrific. He got off on that girl’s pain so much so that he had to come back for more. Disgusting.

Truthful Mommy 2011/11/03 - 8:02 pm

He was like an animal beating on that poor girl. How can anyone even do that to a kid? TO their own flesh and blood. It’s like he had no sympathy at all. He was relentless and just seemed to not get enough.IT was sickening.

The Mayor 2011/11/03 - 8:45 pm

I can’t believe anyone would say what happened on the video constitutes “discipline” needs to take a close look at their heart.

This was unadulterated violence against someone weaker, smaller and at his mercy. This peanut brained cave person fed on his daughters cries as it whipped him into a further frenzy.

Truthful Mommy 2011/11/03 - 11:23 pm

The fact that he fed on it and could not satisfy his appetite for brutality, may in fact, be the most disturbing part of all.

Alison@Mama Wants This 2011/11/03 - 9:03 pm

This makes me sick. Someone should take a belt to this asshole.

He actually looked like he was ENJOYING it. Sick fuck.

Truthful Mommy 2011/11/03 - 11:24 pm

ALlison,I couldn;t have said it better myself’

Jess 2011/11/04 - 10:29 am

This is ridiculous. You know how I feel about this. It’s WRONG. There is nothing a child can do to deserve a beat down like that. And for him to try to justify his actions? Wrong time and place dude. This isn’t 1940 and people don’t tolerate that crap.

Truthful Mommy 2011/11/04 - 1:07 pm

I am speechless by this man’s actions.

Mommy2¢ 2011/11/04 - 11:54 am

I’m all for swatting my kids on the butt if necessary but this made me ill. I actually started to choke up watching it. I will never be able to wrap my head around how a PARENT could EVER do that to their child. And all over a silly computer game. I don’t blame that poor girl for having NO relationship with that bastard and her shit mother! Good for her for finally putting this video out there for the world to see and ruining this f*cks life! She should have done it sooner. I hope his guy fries and becomes some dirty perv’s bitch in prison. Unbelievable.

Truthful Mommy 2011/11/04 - 1:09 pm

I am in complete agreement with you, he will be punished. He is being punished by everyone knowing his dirty little secret. I hope, at the very least, it ruins his career.

Leighann 2011/11/06 - 3:18 pm

I did not watch the video.
1. because I can’t, I will obsess over it and what I can do to bring justice to this child and it will cause too much anxiety, I know my limits.
2. I don’t want to bring anymore popularity to the video’s counts.

I am appalled that this occurred. A person of his profession should know better, however, we all know that many people aren’t what they pretend to be.

The mother is just as guilty as the father, regardless of what she claims. Abuse or not, a child is innocent and should have been protected by the person she trusted.

Truthful Mommy 2011/11/07 - 1:59 pm

I agree, on all accounts.

Mikey 2011/11/09 - 7:27 am

I don’t think you’re appreciating the nature of abuse she may have endured herself. As you said Deborah, any mother “worth her salt” would step in, but this woman may have endured -years- of slowly evolving, subversive and subtle abuse which can maliciously alter her sense of justice, self worth, and -power-. It’s a well reported fact that someone who suffers abuse as a child is more likely to abuse other people in the future, and this is one explanation. Obviously your collective outrage at the video is justified, but if you look into the psychology of abuse a little more you may find yourself able to empathise with the mother’s position and humanity.

Truthful Mommy 2011/11/09 - 9:31 am

I am appreciating the fact that she may have suffered abuse herself. Believe me, I have been the abused child with a mother who was also abused. My mom was complacent. She tried to protect us but it only landed her in the line of fire. I understand the fear to stand up against someone who is so willing to knock you back down. BUT, I have been abused as a child and I don’t hit my children nor would I EVER allow them to be beaten, in the case that I had actually married a POS who would ever do that. I did not. I think people make choices. Once you are a victim, you can either decide to NEVER take that behavior again. TO stand up against the abuse. I am a bootstrap girl, I pulled myself back up and I said no more. I have a line drawn in the sand and I will not deter from it. I will not allow anyone to treat me, my children, or anyone ( if I am aware) in such an abusive manner. I have jumped in the middle of grown men trying to hit their wives. I have pulled children behind me to protect them from a person who wanted to hit too hard and too aggressively.
I understand the feeling of deflation and worthlessness that is literally beaten into your head from being the victim of such abuse. But as I said you have two choices, you can either remain the victim and let it continue or you can stand up against it. I choose to move past it and stand up against it. I know exactly why the mom in the video stood by and even participated, it wasn’t because she wanted to hurt her child it was because she was too afraid of what he would do to her if she intervened. She cowered like a beaten dog and was submissive because he HAD beaten her into submission. I understand completely why she let it happen but she should not. There is nothing more precious to a mother than her child. I;m sure watching him beat her child made her feel even more helpless and worthless but I still think she should have said NO! Called the cops. Fought him back. Whatever possible to stop him from beating her child. I can say with certainty that I would have fought back to protect my child, at any cost. Thank you for your thoughtful comment.

SomeDudeIsAnIdiot 2011/11/12 - 11:29 pm

That was tough to watch. I think he needs to reverse the roles…lock him up, and he’ll find someone just like him who gets off doing what he did. He needs to be the victim, but he’s a judge, and our system is screwed. It will be a tough battle getting justice served. What a piece of shit. How long can you listen to your own daughter scream, wimper, and beg for you to stop hitting her? This guy is a gigantic pos and deserves throat punches every hour on the hour for the rest of his life…and thats goin easy on him in my book. tie him up, and let the daughter whip him with a belt until he screams, and begs her to stop.

Somedude, dont know how your life went, but if you can watch this and think its justified, i sure hope you don’t reproduce.
