Fashion Haul Friday~ Breaking news at the TRUTH about Motherhood, I have decided to start an exciting new bimonthly meme in which I will be sharing with you great fashion finds. I’m calling it Fashion Friday and I hope to bring you awesome fashion at a Mommy affordable price.A Mommy’s gotta know how to find those sweet deals and still be a Fashionista. I say to hell with Pajama jeans and MuMu’s. Who said Mommy’s can’t be stylish? It’s ridiculous and I think it’s high time we take back our right to be Mom chic.

Remember those days? So much fun! Of all the things I miss from my pre-Mommy life, shopping with my girlfriends and spending the day at the mall together is what I miss the most. So let’s do this.

Fashion Haul Friday

The first piece of fashion that I’d like to share with you on my inaugural Fashion Haul Friday are these amazing new pair of Jennifer Lopez Peep-Toe slingback heels that I bought a couple weeks ago. They are very affordable and super hot.

I bought them for a wedding and they were very reasonably priced at $69.99 at Kohls. As of today, they are on sale for $30.97. That is a steal, if you ask me.

They are a lovely lava silver, which basically translates into being a fabulous pewter with a sparkly lavaliciously pink aura. These shoes can bring the party to any outfit and even more impressive, they are pretty comfortable for late nights of dancing considering that they are a sexy 5 inch heel. If you want your legs to look long and sexy, these Jennifer Lopez peep-toe Platforms will not disappoint. I wore these salacious heels all over downtown Chicago for a solid 7 hours before I had to resort to my sparkly flipflops on the dance floor. I’m a Mommy.I usually spend my days in UGGS.

I’m betting if you are a single, girl on the town type, you could wear these babies on the dance floor all night long. I paired them with a cocktail dress, since they were making their debut at a classy downtown wedding but I’ve since paired them with jeans and a cute top and they were equally as hot. Every woman needs a pair of fashionable 5-inch heels to give her a little extra “GRRRRR”.

That’s my Fashion Haul Friday find for this week! I adore these shoes. I would wear them every day if I could but I’m pretty sure that I’d look a little silly pairing them with my yoga pants.

I won’t lie there is something about a 5 inch heels that puts a little more swing in your step and makes you walk a little taller ( and I don’t just mean because they are 5-inches), I think it has something to do with the fact that when you feel sexy you carry yourself in a more sexy way. All I know is that I received a load of compliments on these peep-toe heels and the bandage dress that I paired them with that night.
