Disney World is not just for moms and neither should it’s creator celebration be limited to just mothers (though I did love the idea since I am a mom). Enter Disney Creators Celebration for all Disney loving content creators and influencers. Hey, what do you know, I still qualify because I am one of the most Disney loving creators there are. But what is Disney Creators Celebration? Here’s all you need to know including how you can get invited yourself.
This year’s inaugural Disney Creators Celebration is a Disney land and Sea event, a lot like the last year’s Disney Creator Days celebration. Having attended Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, I can tell you from experience, it is going to be all caps supercalifragilistic AWESOME. Disney does its celebrations in a big way and it never disappoints, just like Disney World itself.
What is Disney Creators Celebration?
Disney Creators celebration is an invitation-only event that celebrates content creators (vloggers, bloggers and social media influencers) through learning and growth opportunities, one-of-a-kind Disney experiences and all the pixie-dusted Disney magic you could ever imagine. Not to make anyone have more FOMO than they might already have but if you ever get the chance to attend any Disney hosted event, always say yes. The answer is always yes. You will never experience Walt Disney World parks, Disney resorts and events like this ever again. It is a once in a lifetime experience and when you’re invited to a hosted celebration, you are encouraged to bring your family along.
The Disney Creators Celebration event will be held on February 18-24, 2020.
What happens at Disney Creators Celebration?
The year’s Disney Creators Celebration will begin with a three-night stay at a Walt Disney World Resort, the brand new Disney Riviera Resort. Next up, three magical nights on a Disney cruise aboard the Disney Dream.

Disney Creators Celebration, like Disney Social Media Moms Celebration before it) is a family-friendly event designed for content creators to experience the joys of Disney with their family while leveling up their creator skills. The goal is to present a bang-up lineup of speakers and networking opportunities for the creator while curating some of the most memorable experiences the creator and their family will ever have. There will also be networking opportunities with some of the hottest brands for families.
Is Disney Creators Celebration at Walt Disney World free?
The Disney Creators Celebration is not free but is a bargain for what all is involved. That fee includes admission to the parks for you and your family, most meals, special programming, a resort stay at Disney’s Riviera Resort and the 3-night cruise aboard the Disney Dream. Also, creators will learn about everything new and exciting coming up in 2020 at Walt Disney World parks and resorts.
We’ve traveled to Walt Disney World many, many times and attending as the guest of Walt Disney World is unlike any trip you’ll ever take. It’s even better than finding all the free things to do at Disney.
The next question on everyone’s mind is how do I get invited to Disney Creators Celebration?
Disney hand-selects invitees but that doesn’t mean you can’t get the Disney Creators Celebration invite. Here are the tips that I have gathered over the years from Disney on how to be considered for any Disney press event.
Go to conferences where Disney will be at and connect/network with Disney PR. Write strong, engaging content about Disney and send the links to the WDW PR department.
What qualities does Disney look for in the influencers they work with?
It really depends on the initiative that they have going on. But it is helpful if bloggers have an up-to-date blog, have great social reach and engagement across the different social platforms, Disney-friendly content on social and their blogs, and a good Travel section.
How does Disney choose who to partner with for press events? Do influencers need a high baseline amount of traffic to be invited to hosted events like Disney Creators Celebration? How important is the audience fit?
Disney does not host very many influencer events so they have to be super selective with invitations. A lot of it is based on a variety of things such as brand fit, reach, audience, specialty, engagement, niche, diversity, quality of followers and whatever product Disney is promoting, etc.
