My motivation to be healthy isn’t solely my son, its my future grandchildren. The thought of not being there to see them or being there but being sickly and not being able to enjoy the time I’m blessed with, with them is a motivation that drives me to pick the apple over a cookie and a short run over a lazy time in front of the tv.

My main motivation right now? When my daycare provider asked if I was having a third baby. Nothing takes the wind out of your sails like that. I have been on the Weight Watchers wagon for almost 4 weeks now, and while the pounds aren’t melting away like I’d hoped, I still need to get healthy, so I’m still on task so far. Not easy when the conference room donuts are calling your name.

My motivation are my children, not able to run or ride the bike around the block with them is really upseting, specially when your super athletic model next door mom rubs it on your kids faces all the time aaagggrrr!!! See??!! That’s what gets me going! =)

My motivation is my kids but I need to make a life long change for me to be healthy and there for my kids through every step from their first steps to their own kids. I hate not being able to teach them soccer because I get winded or when they fall and I can’t get up fast enough to help them just kills me. I have been watching my weight and trying to exercise for the last year and have dropped 40 pounds but still a long way to go. I don’t have a lot of support so Im doing this on myown and this would be a big help!!!

I get your email updates at jefflammers at rocketmail dot com. Setting a good example for my kids plays a big roll in motivating me to remain healthy. Kids usually mimic their parents’ lifestyle and I think a healthy diet and exercise plays an integral part in maintaining a long and fruitful life. This scale would come in handy not only in proper portioning of foods while following a diet but also weighing ingredients for baking breads and desserts.

My Motivation to be healthy is my 3 girls . I want to set an example, show them many ways we can eat healthy, many activities to be active and always remember we must take care of our body. Having my girls is the best thing that has happened to me and I definitely want to live long to see them grow up and they can depend on me..

There’s so much I still want to see and do in my lifetime so I need to do all I can to nourish my body, mind and soul to accomplish all those things.

There is no doubt my children motivate me to be health so I can be around for them and be able to see grandchildren and great-grandchildren. However, heart disease runs rampant in my family so I try to be proactive to prevent that. This would definitely help me out. Thank you!

My Husband and our baby girls are my biggest motivation. I love them all to death and each minute with them is precious to me.

I’m a subscriber. Aging has motivated me to improve my health. I just don’t want to grow old and be unable to do simple, enjoyable things. I had my children in my mid-thirties and I want to be strong and healthy for a while yet.
